Seventh Chords:   Major Seventh Chords
Adding the 7th note of the major scale to a major chord will create a Major Seventh chord. This means playing the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th notes of the major scale simultaneously.
Important: The notation for a Major Seventh chord is maj7. As we will see in a few pages Gmaj7 is NOT the same as G7.
